ABOUT ADAM
Adam Magnacca is an actor, singer and dancer, born in Mississauga Ontario. Adam moved to New Jersey at a young age and has lived there ever since. He started his performing career as a young ensemble member in Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University's production of Street Scene. After catching the bug, he has continued to participate in school and community productions while studying voice privately. Adam has a strong background in music theory and is able to pick up tricky music along with any wacky time step out there thanks to his background in tap. He is a proud graduate of Montclair State University's BFA Musical Theatre program where he received incredible training. Adam is also a student of German and French, learning both languages while working for AIDA Cruise Line.
When not performing, Adam composes and arranges his own music, as well as doing specialty arrangements, transcriptions, and copyist work. Adam works as a Music Supervisor for Norwegian Creative Studios installing shows and rehearsing the cast and band for Norwegian, Oceania, and Regent Cruise Line. He also serves as a Music Director and Teaching Artist for Roundabout Theatre Company here in NYC. He also is the Music Supervisor and ASL Advisor for Chickenshed NYC, an inclusive theatre company for kids. Adam is a lover of American Sign Language and the Deaf community. He is working towards becoming fluent in ASL and hopes to unite the world of Musical Theatre with the Deaf communities.
Adam was a contributing writer for www.patspropaganda.com which is the #1 New England Patriots independent website under Mike Dussault. Adam has several projects on the site including weekly columns during the season and a video of him tackling the NFL conditioning test which you can see here. The work on PatsPropaganda has been featured on ABC News, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Deadspin, and many other reputable sports news outlets.
